FOX 5, myfoxdc and Your local Ford Dealers are giving one local band the opportunity of a lifetime!
One night! One chance! One lucky band will headline a gig at Jammin Java and perform LIVE on Fox 5 Morning News.
Now it's all about the vote.
More than 100 bands submitted a track and photo. Voters will listen and decide who gets take center stage. Voting begins at 12:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 and runs through 11:59 p.m. on May 11,2008.
The winner will be announced on May 12 during Fox 5 Morning News.
Here's what the bands are competing for:
- A live gig on stage at JAMMIN JAVA, one of the premier concert venues in the United States (and a staple of the Washington, DC area music community) as the headline act on June 11,2008.
- The opportunity to perform on perform LIVE on Fox 5 Morning News.
- Perform for record producer Marcus Johnson – of Three Keys Music (schedule permitting.)
